UK Accent is run by Paiyper Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 15745694 ("we"). This notice covers the sign-up forms on this site.

What we collect

If you join the learners' list: your email, the accent you want and your first language. If you sign up as a speaker: your first name, your accent, where you grew up, where you are now, your email, and that you told us you are 18 or over. We also keep the country your request came from and the time you signed up.

Why

Only to email you about UK Accent opening, and for speakers, to invite you to record. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.

Who sees it

Only us. It is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and is never sold or shared with anyone else.

How long

Until UK Accent opens and you take up the invitation or tell us not to email you, and no longer than 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing hello@ukaccent.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers.
